De LAPL (A) is daarom aanzienlijk goedkoper om te behalen dan de PPL (A), maar heeft overeenkomstige kwalitatieve en wettelijke beperkingen vanwege de beperkte reikwijdte van de praktijkopleiding:<br \/>\nEr mag alleen gevlogen worden met vliegtuigen met een maximaal startgewicht van 2.000 kg. Het bewijs van bevoegdheid is alleen geldig in de zogenaamde EASA-staten (bijna identiek aan de EU). Passagiers mogen pas na 10 uur vliegervaring worden vervoerd en zijn beperkt tot maximaal 3 passagiers.<br \/>\nHet bewijs van bevoegdheid kan echter later worden verlengd als de eisen toenemen en kan desgewenst worden opgewaardeerd naar een PPL (A). Dit maakt het de ideale instaplicentie voor alle vliegliefhebbers die deze vrijetijdsbesteding eerst willen leren kennen, maar binnen een beheersbaar kader willen blijven.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"aaba\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-aaba\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\" itemprop=\"name\">Praktische vliegopleiding<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-aaba\" itemscope itemprop=\"acceptedAnswer\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Answer\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\" itemprop=\"text\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>De praktijkopleiding bestaat uit minimaal 30 vlieguren. zichtvliegomstandigheden in niet-commercieel luchtverkeer.<br \/>\nHet kan worden uitgebreid door de latere verwerving van extra autorisaties, bijvoorbeeld voor tweemotorige vliegtuigen of ook door de autorisatie voor nachtvluchten of instrumentvliegen.<br \/>\nDe training wordt uitgevoerd in overeenstemming met de EASA-FCL-voorschriften (European Aviation Safety Agency &#8211; Flight Crew Licensing).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"s350\" itemscope itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\"><button praktijkopleiding bestaat uit minimaal 45 vlieguren. Hiervan vlieg je minstens 25 uur met een instructeur en 10 uur zonder instructeur (solo).<\/p>\n<p>De opleiding brengt je de vaardigheid bij om zelfstandig onder zichtvliegomstandigheden naar een buitenlands vliegveld te vliegen. Er wordt ook training gegeven in het gebruik van radionavigatiesystemen.
